General Questions
What is IFÁ Labs?
IFÁ Labs is a trustless onchain oracle network specialized in delivering accurate, manipulation-resistant price feeds for stablecoins (both global and emerging-market local stablecoins). It is currently live on Base and expanding to additional chains.
Why focus only on stablecoins?
Traditional oracles prioritize volatile assets (BTC, ETH). Stablecoins, especially local ones in emerging markets, are often underserved, leading to infrequent updates or poor coverage. IFÁ Labs fills this gap with tailored aggregation, tighter deviation thresholds, and priority support for assets like cNGN and BRZ.
Is IFÁ Labs fully onchain?
Yes — all price reads are trustless and performed directly from audited EVM smart contracts. There are no offchain APIs or dependencies for consuming the price data.

Live: Base Mainnet
Testnets: Base Sepolia, AssetChain Testnet
Upcoming: AssetChain Mainnet, Solana, and more EVM L2s
Integration & Technical Questions
How do I get a price in Solidity?
Call getAssetInfo(bytes32 assetId) on the oracle contract. It returns a PriceFeed struct with price, decimal, and lastUpdateTime. Always scale the price:
humanPrice = uint256(price) / 10 ** uint8(-decimal)
What are the asset IDs?
Fixed bytes32 values generated via keccak256("SYMBOL/USD"). See the full list in Supported Assets.
My price check says “stale” even though the market is calm
This is expected. Stablecoins update only on meaningful deviation or time intervals (often hours). Use a reasonable staleness threshold (2–4 hours) for most stablecoin applications. See Price Appears Stale.
Can I request a new stablecoin feed?
Yes! We prioritize assets with:
Verified backing/transparency
Real-world or onchain adoption

How secure are the contracts?
All price oracle contracts were professionally audited by AdForensics (July 2025). No critical or high-severity issues were found. All 7 identified findings (5 Low, 2 Informational) were resolved before launch. Full report available in the GitHub repo.
